Fall is getting closer now, and I am ready for some cooler weather. This summer in Florida has been absolutely brutal. Of course autumn is my favorite season and I'm eager for a trip north over the next few months to feel the cool breezes, listen to the falling leaves, sip pumpkin spice latte, and to watch some football.

While I wait for the cold front (which may not arrive until 2026), I'm currently reading Brando's Smile by Susan Mizruchi. This interesting book reveals how Marlon Brando embraced foreign cultures and outsiders and how that fueled his acting brilliance and propelled his stardom. I'm always looking for new book recommendations for quiet evenings and travel, so if you have read any books that have knocked your socks off, please send them my way!

📍Destination Spotlight: The Galapagos

Said to be nature's greatest classroom, the Galápagos is an archipelago of volcanic islands about 560 miles west of Ecuador in South America. The Galápagos are famed for their high number of endemic species — animals and plants found nowhere else on Earth!

• All visits must be accompanied by certified naturalist guides; solo exploration is not allowed.
• Weather is pleasant year-round; however, wildlife activity and ocean conditions can shift with seasons.
• Peak season generally spans June to September and mid-December to January, offering warm air, calmer seas, and nesting activity. This comes with higher demand.
• The months of April–May and October–November may offer quieter yet rewarding experiences.
• Experiences include: snorkeling with sea lions & sharks, Zodiac landings, hikes, and wildlife spotting
